An Interesting Gift
On last Thur I attending my sch annual Staff retreat. It was a whole long day of meetings and sharing and brain stroming for new ideas. I thought although it was long, but yet fruitful and I believe we all had a great time! The many side jokes and coffee breaks sure helped me much in trying to stay awake and focus! Haha...
One thing which caught me was the little gift which they asked all teachers to get their hands on to make. And guess make for who.... None other then for ourselves, to appreciate ourselves! Interesting, yet funny or strange you can say! Normally we dont really do things for ourselves but more for others. It is human nature. However I guess it is always good to affirm and bless yourself with a small token along the way, such that you can finish up the rest of the long long journey with more motivation and energy.
If you feel tired out at work, or even in studying for exams now, or after your exams, do pause along the way and maybe stop to pamper youself with something that can further motivate you to move on! A simple act like making this cute plague goes a long way for us I believe!
