Spaced out!
I had to draw some blood for testing this morning, and since my mother is a nurse, hence she did it for me such that it would be easier when I went for my appointment that afternoon. If not I would have to fast at least 6h before taking the blood, my as well do it in the morning then, since best time will be when you just get up, as you would not have eaten anything before that.
I got up earlier then I needed to as my mum had to take my blood before she leaves house for work. This was my first time taking blood actually, so I just got up and went ahead with a calm heart. Did not know what I was expecting actually, but what followed after that really shocked me and I thought it did bring me a second closer to heaven! Haha!
All went about well through the blood taking, not much pain was felt as the needle went into my arms. The next thing I knew it, it was over, the blood was taken and my mum told me to use the alcohol swap to hold on to the point of insertion. What my body felt next I totally have not experienced before.
First felt nauseous, followed by chest tightening and my head started to get heavy. I felt as if my entire body system was in hay wire and it seems like I cant breadth properly. Just 1 plus minutes after my mom took the needle off me, I told her I felt funny and wanted to faint already. Immediately she told me to put my head on the table. I did just that and felt even worst. Cant really describe how I felt, but it was really bad. The next thing I know, I felt my sense of hearing becoming softer and softer. I knew my mother told me to go and lie down. Hence I had to battle pass the stairs to go up to my room to lie on the bed. I also did not know how I managed to climb up the stairs, but I know deep inside me then I felt I was about to die, cant breadth properly.
I just kept praying.
Then there was a moment which I felt as if I was in heaven. Darkness filled my eyes, cant hear, just knew my legs were moving towards my bed. I did faint for a moment, but thankfully was on my bed and hence I was still conscious. After a while, I felt so much better and everything went back to normal.
Seriously I also do not know exactly how come and why my body will react in such a way just to one taking of blood. However I knew then and really thank God that nothing more serious happened.
All I know is from that experience, I do not want to be leaving this place so soon, as I still have much things left to be done!
